ಕೊಡಗು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ವರ್ಗಗಳ ವಿಭಾಗ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಆಯೋಜನೆಗೊಂಡ, ಕೊಡಗು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ವರ್ಗಗಳ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಉಸ್ತುವಾರಿ ಸಚಿವರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಎನ್.ಎಸ್ ಭೋಸ ರಾಜು ರವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲಾಯಿತು .
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ, ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ವರ್ಗದ 150 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ನಾಯಕರು ಅಪ್ರು ರವೀಂದ್ರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ, ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ತೊರೆದು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಮರು ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಆತ್ಮೀಯವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
