ಕೊಡಗು ಅರೆಭಾಷೆ ಗೌಡ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ, ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಯ ಉದ್ದೇಶಕ್ಕಾಗಿ, ಮಾನ್ಯ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ರವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಕಂದಾಯ ಸಚಿವರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಬೈರೇಗೌಡ ರವರು ವಿರಾಜಪೇಟೆ ವಿಧಾನ ಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಮಡಿಕೇರಿ ತಾಲೂಕು ಮದೆ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಕಾಟಕೇರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 6 ಎಕರೆ ಜಾಗವನ್ನು ಮಂಜೂರು ಮಾಡಿದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಜಮ್ಮಬಾಣೆ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ನಿವಾರಿಸಿದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಿ ಗೌರವಾರ್ಪಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು.
