As part of the continuing services to mark the first anniversary of AK Subbaiah, free ration kits to the needy people was distributed on Friday at Arasu Nagar, Mariyamma Temple, Sunnada Beedi Samudaya Bhavan and Congress Block Office in Virajpet by AS Ponnanna through the AK Subbaiah-Ponnamma Trust.

Today is the first death anniversary of the exemplary Gentleman AK Subbaiah. In his memory, his son AS Ponnanna took the legacy forward by launching a series of social service initiatives in Kodagu today. A memorial for AK Subbaiah was unveiled at Konageri, Hudikeri today in the presence of hundreds. Later, ration kits were distributed through the AK Subbaiah-Ponnamma Trust at Santhemala, Napoklu. More programmes are scheduled in the next two days.
