ಹಾಕಿ ಪಟು ಹಾಗೂ 88 ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯಪಂದ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಂಪೈರ್ ಆಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿದ ಕೊಡಗಿನ ಅನುಪಮಾ ಪುಚಿಮಂಡ ಕೋವಿಡ್ ನಿಂದ ಅಸುನೀಗಿದ ಸುದ್ದಿ ಆಘಾತ ತಂದಿತ್ತು. ಅವರು ಅಗಲಿದ ಸುದ್ದಿ ಕೇಳಿ ವಿಕ್ರಮ್ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ಹೋದಾಗ ಕೋವಿಡ್ ನಿಯಮಾವಳಿಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವರ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥೀವ ಶರೀರಕ್ಕೆ ಅಂತಿಮ ನಮನ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲೂ ಅವಕಾಶ ದೊರೆಯಲಿಲ್ಲ. ವಿಧಿಯಾಟ ಕ್ರೂರವಾಗಿದೆ. ಕೊಡಗಿನ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯ ಮಗಳಿಗೆ ಇಂತಹ ದುರಂತ ಸಾವು ತುಂಬಾ ನೋವನ್ನು ತಂದಿದೆ. ಅವರ ಅಗಲಿಕೆಯ ನೋವನ್ನು ಭರಿಸುವ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಕಾವೇರಿ ತಾಯಿ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರಿಗೆ ನೀಡಲಿ.

My tributes to one of the most eminent jurists of India, Soli Sorabjee. We have lost one of the brightest legal minds today. The former Attorney-General can never be forgotten for his defence of freedom of expression and protection of human rights.

 

 

On the 136th founding year of the Indian National Congress, my salutations to the body which achieved the objective for which it was formed. To unite Indians across divisions of culture, territory, religion and language, namely a single Indian Nation.

 

 

ಪೊನ್ನಣ್ಣ ಅವರು ಶನಿವಾರದಂದು ಟಿ. ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಗೇರಿ, ಬಿರುನಾಣಿ, ಶ್ರೀಮಂಗಲ, ಕುಟ್ಟ, ನಾಲ್ಕೇರಿ, ಕೆ. ಬಾಡಗ, ಕಾನೂರು, ನಿಟ್ಟೂರು, ಬಾಳೆಲೆ, ಪೊನೃಪಸಂತೆ, ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳಿಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದರು.ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯತಿ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಪೊನ್ನಣ್ಣನವರು, "ಗ್ರಾಮ ಸೇವಕರು ಪಂಚಾಯತ್ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾಗಬೇಕು. ಅಂದು ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವದ ನಿಜವಾದ ಜಯ," ಎಂದು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳ ಭೇಟಿಯ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ‌ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಭ್ಲಾಕ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ನವೀನ್, ಫ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದಶಿ ಬಾಬು ಹಾಗೂ ಬಾಲಕೃಷ್ಣ, ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಪಂಚಾಯತ್ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ಶಿವ ಮಾದಪ್ಪ, ಪ್ರತ್ಯು, ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕು ಪಂಚಾಯತ್ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ಪಲ್ವಿನ್ ಪೂಣಚ್ಚ, ಎಲ್ಲ ವಿಭಾಗೀಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು.
