ವಿರಾಜಪೇಟೆ ಪುರಸಭೆ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ನೆಹರು ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀ ಪಲ್ಲಾಟ್ ಅಯ್ಯಪ್ಪ ದೇವರ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಕಲಶ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ದೇವರ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದ ಪಡೆದೆ. ಬಳಿಕ ಸದರಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರಳಲು ಭಕ್ತಾದಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಿಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗಲೆಂದು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದ ನೂತನ ರಸ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ಲೋಕಾರ್ಪಣೆಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಶುಭಕೋರಿದ ಸಂದರ್ಭ.
