The Supreme Court has given a historic verdict, 22/09/2021
ಕೊಡವರು ಮತ್ತು ಜಮ್ಮಾ ಭೂಮಿ ಹಿಡುವಳಿದಾರರಿಗೆ ಇರುವ ಕೋವಿ ವಿನಾಯಿತಿ ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿದ ಅರ್ಜಿಯನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿ ಉಚ್ಚ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ತೀರ್ಪು ನೀಡಿದೆ. 170 ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕಾಲದಿಂದ ಇರುವ ಈ ವಿನಾಯಿತಿಯ ಮಾನ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಎತ್ತಿಹಿಡಿದಿದೆ. ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾನೂನು ಹೋರಾಟಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು.
The High Court has upheld the notification exempting Kodavas and Jamma land holders from obtaining licence for a gun. The PIL filed challenging the said notification has been dismissed. Congratulations to all and gratitude to the lawyers and persons involved in the legal battle.
