ಈ ಸಾಲಿನ ದ್ವಿತೀಯ ಪಿಯುಸಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಡಗು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗೆ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲೇ ನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಪಡೆದ ಹೊಸಮನೆತನದ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನ ಹಾಗೂ ರೀನಾ ದಂಪತಿಯ ಸುಪುತ್ರಿ ಕುಮಾರಿ ಸಿಂಚನ ರವರಿಗೆ, ಅವರ ಸಾಧನೆಯನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
