Tiger attacks need holistic solution, 26/09/2022

Its a tragic incident that has occurred near Bommadu Haadi. Jenukurubara Daasa was killed by a Tiger. Only compensation is enough? Don't we have to identify who is responsible, so that such things dont occur again ? The Tiger had killed a Cow and forester Gurumurthy did the Mahazar. Now was it not his responsibility to alert everyone around and find the lurking Tiger? Was it not his duty to stand there and bury the dead cow ? Why did he leave it to the Tribals to do the burying of the cow. He just did the Mahazar and immediately left the place. Dasa is no more today only because forester Gurumurthy did not do his duty. He left the place immediately after the Mahazar and he "ordered" Dasa to bury the Cow. When Dasa was burying the cow, the Tiger attacked him and killed him !! There is direct and clearcut connection between Dasa's death and NEGLIGENCE OF FORESTER GURUMURTHY. Shouldn't there be DEPARTMENTAL ENQUIRY into this matter? How can he order the Tribals to the work of the department such as burying the dead cow. He did this only because Dasa was from Tribal Community. This shows his ARROGANCE. Bomadu Haadi and surrounding area is very sensitive forest region. Can such irresponsible and arrogant forester be posted there. WE DEMAND FORESTER GURUMURTHY SHOULD BE SUSPENDED IMMEDIATELY AND DEPARTMENTAL ENQUIRY HAS TO BE INTIATED INTO HIS NEGLIGENCE. This is only way be can give justice to the death of Jenukurbara Dasa.
