ಕೊಡಗು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಪಂಚಾಯಿತಿ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಈ ಹಿಂದಿನಂತೆ 29 ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿ ಕೊಡಗು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಸಮಿತಿ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಮಂತ್ರಿಯವರಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣಾಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪಂಚಾಯತ್ ರಾಜ್ ಸಚಿವರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಿಯಾಂಕ ಖರ್ಗೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮನವಿಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. The Kodagu District Congress Committee submitted a memorandum to the Hon'ble Chief Minister and Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Shri Priyank Kharge demanding that the number of Kodagu Zilla Panchayat constituencies be increased to 29 as before.
