ವಿಧಾನಸಭೆಯ ಬಜೆಟ್ ಅಧಿವೇಶನಕ್ಕೆ ಮುನ್ನ, ಇಂದು ಮಾನ್ಯ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಸಚಿವರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಈಶ್ವರ ಖಂಡ್ರೆ ರವರ ಜೊತೆ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯರವರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಿ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಪಟ್ಟ ಹಲವು ಮಹತ್ವದ ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಚರ್ಚಿಸಲಾಯಿತು ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಸಚಿವರಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಡಗಿನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಗಮನಹರಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು.
