I had the great pleasure to launch a 3 day Kodava Family Sports Meet at Ammathi in Virajpet, with a football tournament and women's throwball tournament, 04/03/2023

ಕ್ರೀಡೆ ಕೊಡಗಿನ ಜೀವನಾಡಿ ನಮ್ಮ ತಾಯಿ ಕಾವೇರಿ ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಪವಿತ್ರ. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಅದರದೇ ಆದ ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯತೆ ಇದೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ವಿರಾಜಪೇಟೆ ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಅಮತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ದಿನದ ಕೊಡವ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಕೂಟಕ್ಕೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿ ಫುಟ್ಬಾಲ್ ಪಂದ್ಯಾವಳಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ತ್ರೋಬಾಲ್ ಪಂದ್ಯಾವಳಿ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಒಂದು ಸಾರ್ಥಕತೆಯ ಮನೋಭಾವ. ನಮ್ಮ ಪೂಜ್ಯ ತಂದೆ ತಾಯಿಯವರ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಈ ಪಂದ್ಯಾವಳಿಗೆ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹ ನೀಡಿ ಅವರ ಜೊತೆ ನಾನೂ ಒಬ್ಬನಾಗಿ ಈ ಪಂದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲು ಬಹಳ ಖುಷಿಯಾಯಿತು. ಓ ಎಕ್ಸ್ ಸ್ಪೋರ್ಟ್ಸ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಜೊತೆಗೂಡಿ ಈ ಪಂದ್ಯಾವಳಿ ಶುರುವಾಗಿದೆ .ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ತಂಡಗಳು ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾವೆ. ನನ್ನ ಜೊತೆಗೂಡಿ ಪಂದ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಆರಂಭ ನೀಡಿದ ಕರ್ನಲ್ ಸುಬ್ಬಯ್ಯ , ಡಾಕ್ಟರ್ ಅಮೃತ್ ನಾಣಯ್ಯ ,ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ , ಹರ್ಷಿಕಾ ಪೂಣಚ್ಚ, ಧರ್ಮಜ ಉತ್ತಪ್ಪ ಮತ್ತು ವಿ ಸುಬ್ರಮಣಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅತಿಥಿ ಗಣಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನ ಮನದಾಳದಿಂದ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು. ಬಂದಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟುಗಳು ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಾ ಮನೋಭಾವದಿಂದ ಆಡಿ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಗೆ ಜಯ ತಂದು ಕೊಡಿ. ನಮ್ಮ ಕೊಡವ ಕುಟುಂಬದಿಂದ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು, ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟುಗಳು ಭಾರತವನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಸಿ ಅಂತರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಡಗಿನ ಕೀರ್ತಿ ಪತಾಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾರಿಸಲಿ. I had the great pleasure to launch a three-day Kodava Family Sports Meet at Ammathi in Virajpet yesterday, with a football tournament and women's throwball tournament. I also got the wonderful opportunity to participate in this match along with them in spirit, by providing a small incentive to this tournament. This tournament was started in association with OX Sports, featuring sports teams from all over. My heartfelt thanks to Colonel Subbaiah, Dr. Amrit Nanaiah, Prakash, Harshika Poonachcha, Dharmaja Uthappa, V Subramani, and all the guests who started the match with me. All the athletes at the event are pumped up with competitive spirit and excited to play and bring victory to their teams. May many more athletes from Kodagu represent India and fly the flag of Kodagu glory at the international level!
