ಪೊನ್ನಂಪೇಟೆ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಕೊಟ್ಟೂರು ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನೂತನವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗಿರುವ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಹಾದೇವ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಕಮಾನುವನ್ನು ಲೋಕಾರ್ಪಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಬಳಿಕ ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಕಾಲೋನಿಯ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಿ ಅವರ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಆಲಿಸಿ ಶೀಘ್ರದಲ್ಲೇ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವುದಾಗಿ ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.
